The International Battodo Federation Taikai was held November 10, 2024 at the Yokohama City Tsurumi Sports Center. A contingent of seven Kenshinkan branch members attended this year. August 23-25, 2024: Kenshinkan Dojo hosted an instructor seminar for senior practitioners across the United States. IBF members from California, Alaska, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Texas attended. Looking forward to the next one! A brief photo gallery can be seen HERE.

March 31, 2024: Battodo Fudokan held an International Battodo Federation Taikai in London. Three members of Kenshinkan Dojo attended the Taikai and two days of excellent training - including a detailed seminar on the yari/sword set of kumitachi. Excellent event! Kenshinkan Dojo teaches Toyama Ryu Iaido and Nakamura Ryu Battodo. Originally founded in Northern California, Kenshinkan Dojo is affiliated with the International Battodo Federation, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Japan. The dojo currently is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
Founded in 1994 by Guy Power Sensei, Kenshinkan Dojo carries on the teachings of Nakamura Taizaburo Sensei, founder of Nakamura Ryu Battodo.
